Abigail Richards is the previous Co-Executive Director of Young Women’s Freedom Center, where she oversaw organizational infrastructure during a time of massive growth and scale, ensuring long-term programmatic success and sustainability and leading expansion to Southern California.
She has led international development work in Egypt, Morocco, and Malawi, working with refugees fleeing persecution and oppressive regimes, and in the Gambia, working with the U.S. Embassy and the Office of the Mayor on women’s empowerment initiatives.
At ReImagine Freedom, Abigail focuses on expanding the organization’s long-term sustainability, cultivating our collective economic development work, and expanding our leadership development pipelines with a focus on investing in Black leadership across our initiatives.
